Art Fair-ing in San Jose & Artist Day Out...

The last couple weeks have been awesome and busy busy busy. I've been working on a new line of cards featuring my galaxy artwork, I think they'll be lovely for the holidays. I've also decided to get my first #owlsdoingthings calendar together! Sign up here to get an email when they are released!

On September 9th I participated in a new event called Taylor Street Turn Up put together by garden2table.  What a wonderful event! Here are some pictures from the garden:

It was a lovely time and lots of people stopped by to say hello. I met some lovely ladies from  and saw my friend Sarah from Suite Sailing Soaps. YAY!

Let's Go to the Museum...

OH TURNER... sigh! I love love love Turner's work. I had the pleasure of falling in love with his work at the Tate Britain while I was in London visiting a friend. I was so happy to hear that the DeYoung museum in San Francisco was having his work in a special exhibit. I went with a few of my artist friends, Frances Marin and Laura Johnston. It was crowded, but fabulous. I loved all the watercolors, but forgot to take any photos of those! I was too mesmerized I suppose... Of course the grounds surrounding the DeYoung are gorgeous, it's Golden Gate park after all. What a gorgeous day too!

After the museum we went to eat at this lovely place called Nopalito. Everything about this place is amazing. Loved the ambiance, our server was so nice, the food was absolutley delish! I tried nopales for the first time and they were amazing! We ended the day at Ocean Beach and it was parfait! There is a sweet little neighborhood right there as well and we found the cutest shop, The Last Straw. Stop in and say hello if you get a chance...
