100 Days of What If?
A Daily Project: 2026
100 daily paintings in miniature: 2.5 × 3.5 inches
Each painting is a landscape presented in a Polaroid orientation with a question that comes to mine after I finish the painting.
During this series, I’ve been grieving my father, who passed in February. He left this world one week before I had a two week residency planned. Which happened to be the best place for me to be after the experience.
I would spend the first week co-creating art and being immersed in friendship (catching up on decades) and the second creating alone and sinking into the experience of ancient forests at the seaside, healing my heart, and thanking my father for doing what he could do and always reminding me to look out the window.
